On Saturday, May 9, Dutch Culture USA will for the first time be an official supporting partner of the opening festivities of NYCxDESIGN, with a special presentation by FormNation that will serve as our information hub during WantedDesign Brooklyn in Industry City.
Before NYCxDESIGN 2015 ends on May 19, we are excited to visit the much anticipated opening of the Moooi Showroom and Brand Store in NYC, and look forward to Wonder Room, a complete takeover of The Future Perfect NYC store by Piet Hein Eek and other Dutch colleagues. Our collaboration with the Collective Design fair also continues with a special installation by Os ∆ Oos, and Atelier Courbet will continue its "Master-Craftsmen" series with an exhibition featuring Gijs Bakker and his collaborations with fellow Dutch artisans. Various Dutch design brands and companies will present booths at ICFF, including Artifort, Cool Kids Company (with Mr. Maria & This Is Dutch), EasyDrain USA, Stefan Hengst, Pepe Heykoop, InsideOUT Luxury (Royal Blue Collection), Fred&Juul, Kikkerland, and Montis. And last but not least, do not miss the How Posters Work exhibition at Cooper-Hewitt, with a.o. work by various Dutch graphic designers, and the Pathmakers: Women in Art, Craft and Design exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Design, featuring a.o. Hella Jongerius' design for the United Nations Delegates Lounge.
We thank all the Dutch designers and design companies, and the many American partners for making this happen! It is a wonderful way to finally welcome Spring, and we hope that you will enjoy visiting all these projects, either in person or online.
