From March 13-16, StartupAmsterdam and Amsterdam inbusiness will host a booth together with The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) at the SXSW Trade Show.

Holland: Europe's Launch Pad for Awesome Startups

Renowned internationally for its open culture and emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation, the Netherlands is home to a vibrant, collaborative startup ecosystem. Holland’s unrivaled digital infrastructure, highly educated, tech-savvy, English-speaking workforce and open corporate business culture provide an attractive and supportive test market for new business. Just ask companies like Tesla, DoubleDutch, Netflix, Uber, Shutterstock, Optimizely, Flexport and Nextdoor.

A special ‘start-up visa’ makes it possible for ambitious entrepreneurs outside of the European Union to apply for a temporary residence permit for the Netherlands to launch an innovative business. We also offer incentives to promote corporate R&D and innovation, making the Netherlands one of the best values in Europe for startups and scaleups.

Amsterdam: Your Launch Pad into Europe

Amsterdam is the ideal place for startups that are looking into European expansion and are actively looking for their first European client. StartupAmsterdam and Amsterdam inbusiness have a network of corporates that are eager to test new technologies and act as launching customers for startup solutions. The Amsterdam booth at SXSW will be a meeting place for Dutch corporates and international startups attending SXSW. We host Launch Pad sessions, during which startups get to opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with Dutch corporates.
