The exhibition 'Five Centuries Of Prints, will be exhibited from July 24 until October 23 at the NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale. It showcases the work of over more then 100 different artists distinctive collection of American and European art.
This exhibition of over 100 prints highlights their distinctive collection of American and European engravings, etchings, lithographs, and woodcuts from the 16th through the 20th centuries, with works by such masters as Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) and Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), as well as works by print masters from subsequent centuries such as Francisco de Goya (1746-1828), Georges Braque (1882-1963), Edward Hopper (1882-1967), Paul Klee (1879-1940), Käthe Kollwitz (1867-1945), Marie Laurencin (1863-1956), Henri Matisse, (1869-1954), Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841- 1919), and James A. McNeill Whistler (1834-1903).
This exhibition is organized by NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale and curated by Barbara Buhler Lynes, Sunny Kaufman Senior Curator, and supported by BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
