About Electric Zoo Festival

Electric Zoo is an annual electronic music festival held over Labor Day weekend in New York City on Randall’s Island. The festival represents all genres of electronic music, bringing top international DJs and live acts from multiple countries to four stages.

About Tiesto

Tiësto launched his career as one of the world’s foremost trance DJs, due in part to his legendary six-hour live sets, and went on to embrace a more pop-oriented EDM approach. A native of Breda, Netherlands, Tiësto was born Tijs Verwest on January 17, 1969, and first started DJ’ing at a hometown club called the Sprock. Discovered there by the GM of Rotterdam-based independent label Basic Beat Recordings, Tiësto released his first of five mix CDs as a part of the label’s Forbidden Paradise series. With quick success and an accelerated work ethic, he partnered with Arny Bink in 1997 to form Black Hole Recordings, a private label that became the birthplace for both his Space Age and revered Magik series. Black Hole also brought the world the first mix compilations from artists like Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, and Armin van Buuren, and introduced yet another prized series called In Trance We Trust.

About Hardwell

At the age of 25, Robbert van de Corput, better known as Hardwell, capped off a 10 year journey when he was crowned World’s #1 DJ in the 2013 Top 100 DJs Poll cementing his position as the electronic scenes newest superstar DJ and becoming the youngest ever winner of the coveted Top 100 DJs award. In 2014 the Dutch megastar was crowned World’s #1 DJ for a second consecutive year. Having conquered almost every global territory from Asia to Africa, South America, Australia and Europe, the remarkable story behind this archetypal international DJ is one of devotion and relentless hard work. After releasing 21 mix albums, and a little under 2 years in the making, United We Are was released worldwide on January 23rd and marked the debut artist album from the Dutch maestro. The longplayer release features a host of collaborations that include Jason Derulo, Fatman Scoop, W&W, Bright Lights, Harrison, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Amba Shepherd, Joey Dale, Luciana Headhunterz, Chris Jones, Haris, Mr Probz, Funkerman feat. I-fan and DallasK, as well as a track together with Tiësto and singer-songwriter Andreas Moe.

About Bassjackers

Best friends since high school, DJ, Marlon Flohr, and producer, Ralph van Hilst came together in 2007 to create the Dutch duo known as Bassjackers. Marlon, the wild and outspoken half of Bassjackers, lives for the spotlight and being on stage performing for massive crowds. His counterpart, Ralph, on the other hand, is laidback and introverted, preferring his behind-the-scenes role as producer. Their opposing personalities are a perfect combination for this unique one dj-one producer collaboration. The duo exploded onto the scene and in 2011 their dancefloor bomb “Mush Mush” was picked up by Tiësto and released on his label Musical Freedom. The track dominated the Beatport top 10 chart for over two months and was one of the biggest festival tracks of the year. This was a sign of things to come. Since then, Bassjackers have reached massive new heights in their career with numerous chart-topping bangers and hit collaborations with the likes of Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dyro, R3hab, and Showtek, to name a few, as well as remixes for A-list artists including Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Moby, and Ne-Yo. At the top of their game, Bassjackers continue to tear up stages worldwide and wow crowds along the way.
