Aqua Art Miami, which will kick off with a VIP Preview on Wednesday, November 30 and be open to the public December 1 - 4, has become the premier destination for prominent collectors and art aficionados to procure works by young, emerging and mid-career artists. Throughout the years, Aqua Art Miami has continued to solidify itself as a completely unique fair, consistently staying true to its signature relaxed yet energetic vibe. The 2016 edition will feature 47 international exhibitors showcasing fresh new works, and set in the intimate exhibition rooms that open into a beautiful courtyard, all found within the classic South Beach hotel. Out of the 47 exhibitors, the following are Dutch:
Kallenbach Gallery exhibits new and cutting edge art. The gallery operates from an interest and passion for the New Contemporary Art movement, which has its roots in popular culture, design and urban art. They aim to introduce the public to these exciting and innovative artists in an open and approachable way.
Rademakers Gallery is a contemporary gallery, based in Amsterdam, that presents artworks by emerging and renowned artists at the interface of art, photography, fashion and design, such as Adi Da Samraj, Annelies Damen, Anthon Beeke, Bruno Bisang, Carli Hermès, Cathalijn Wouters, Dagmar van Weeghel, Jimmy Nelson, Flokje van Lith, Hendrik Kerstens, Iris van Herpen, Natasja van der Meer, Sebiha Demir, Studio Job, Zuijderwijk Vergouwe.
In its first year, Stick Together sparked the creation of events around Europe by top international artists. Now Stick Together’s identity eclipses into an art gallery housing some of the most prolific and established artists in the clever niches of contemporary art. As a young and emerging gallery they are proud to recognize their involvement in these events due to our professional standards, positive participation, and authentic artist selection. For Aqua Art Miami, Stick Together brings its focus to Max Zorn tape art, and the room illuminates like a glowing dollhouse with warm light from lightbox frames in which the tape works are displayed on walls an within authentic wooden cigar holders and champagne boxes. Max Zorn exhibits fresh work inspired by scenes from a dreamy nostalgia of mood, color and timeless subjects meeting a vintage, sepia-toned surrealism. An ongoing live session of a work in progress is installed in the booth where Max Zorn creates live to show the process of the work around him.
