For one weekend each year, about a dozen top dealers and publishers from far and wide set up mini-galleries in Mia’s Reception Hall (Target Wing, 3rd floor). They bring an amazing array of fine prints and drawings, all of which are for sale. Mia staff members organize the event, and proceeds benefit the museum’s Department of Prints and Drawings. Hundreds of original works of art on paper for sale by leading dealers from the United States and Europe. Old masters to contemporary, plus Japanese prints. Names like Rembrandt, Cassatt, and Picasso, right up to today’s emerging artists. Plus, pop-up talks and activities all weekend.
