DutchCulture, Centre for International Cooperation and the Department of Cultural Affairs of the city of Los Angeles (DCA) announce a new round of the Cultural Exchange International (CEI) grant opportunity. DutchCulture coordinates the participation of the Netherlands in this exchange program.
CEI provides fellowship support to creative professionals (artists – e.g. dancers, designers, musicians, architects, filmmakers, visual artists, etc.; arts administrators; arts/cultural educators and scholars; curators; presenters; creative entrepreneurs; cultural innovators; and cultural experts) who are proposing a creative residency.
How to apply
International creative professionals wishing to undertake residency activities in LA will not apply directly. Their residency proposals must be submitted by an LA-area host organization (or the lead agency of a local consortium). Dutch artists, arts organisations can partner with LA peers for a collaboration project in 2014/2015 and the application for this project can only be submitted to DCA by the LA partner.
Deadline is December 6th 2013.
Please read carefully all the guidelines on the DCA website, as they are some important binding conditions.
The LA residence exchange project is a collaboration between DCA Los Angeles, DutchCulture, Centre for International Cooperation, the Dutch Fund for the Performing Arts and the Consulate General for the Netherlands in New York.
