Carice van Houten’s Emmy Nomination for HBO’s Game of Thrones

Dutch actress Carice van Houten received her first-ever Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Van Houten reprised her role as Red Priestess Melisandre in the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The series received a record-breaking 32 nominations for its final season. The Emmy Awards take place in Los Angeles on September 22nd.
