6 Dutch Companies Participate at International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) during NYCxDESIGN, May 21-24 2017

The 29th annual ICFF NYC, North America’s platform for global design, will map the newest frontier of what’s best and what’s next at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, May 21-24, 2017. North America’s premier showcase for contemporary design, the ICFF annually lures those in determined pursuit of design’s timely truths and latest trends to an encyclopedic exhibition of up-to-the-moment offerings, as well as a series of fascinating, fun, edifying programs, and a packed schedule of exhibits and features.

Participating Dutch companies are ArtifortDesign by NicoDutchDeluxesEasy Sanitary Solutions, Plexwood and Kikkerland.

Artifort (booth 1613)

Design by Nico (booth 1240A)

Design by Nico owner Nicolette de Waart comes from the Netherlands, drawing inspiration from the countries where she has lived and visited, including Singapore and the UK, where she is based and her products are hand-made by craftsmen. Her furniture include her metal bookshelves, Corian Solid Oak desk and daybed. Her Leaf Seat stools have been used in projects for numerous leading companies like GOOGLE Head office in Dublin, Accor Hotel group and MR Architecture in New York and the stool is featured in Missoni showroom London. She now launches the Poppy Bloom Stool.

DutchDeluxe (booth 2556)

Founded in 2013, DUTCHDELUXES is a design label based in the creative heart of the Dutch design city Eindhoven. Driven by passion and fun, it brings extraordinary crafted made in Holland products to the market. Classical elements and materials are combined with sleek shapes in an innovative way.

At the moment their focus is to create fashionable kitchenstuff and tableware and to 
become a leading brand in this segment. New, wow, extraordinary serving trays, platters, bread boards, aprons and gloves.

Easy Sanitary Solutions (booth 444)

Easy Sanitary Solutions (ESS) is an expert designer & manufacturer of linear drainage systems for barrier free/ curbless showers that are attractive, comfortable and safe. Inventors and developers of the EasyDrain USA shower drainage system and have thus triggered a boom for freedom of barriers in private bathrooms. You create a unique space without barriers. They are committed to excellent products with attention to quality and durability. All their products are developed and manufactured in-house in our factories in Holland and Germany. This is how EasyDrain guarantees highest quality. All products are subject to extensive testing and evaluation, to ensure a long lasting life in your bathroom.

 

Plexwood (booth 1779)

Plexwood was founded in 2000, starting with a small collection of solid floors, soon enough, when the demand for accompanying products grew, so did our company, resulting in a versatile collection of products. Throughout the years they have gained specialized knowledge and experience by the ever changing demand of their clients, which allowed them to keep innovating; nowadays, all of their products are made on demand and can be tailored to almost any specific technical or sustainability standard. Plexwood is located in the picturesque village of Everdingen, in a typically Dutch environment, one with cattle farms and fruit orchards. They are surrounded by water, the so-called “dijken” (dikes) that The Netherlands is so famous for, are literally in their back yard.

Kikkerland Design Inc., where creativity runs rampant and even the most utilitarian gadget becomes a delightful discovery. Since 1992, the folks at Kikkerland Design have traveled the world in search of original designs for things that can make life more enjoyable. Clever things to intrigue you.
