About Hans Pieter Herman

Dutch baritone Hans Pieter Herman began his musical studies in Amsterdam where he received his master’s degree. Supported by Dutch government funding, he continued his vocal and performing studies in America at Northwestern University from which he holds an honorary advanced graduate degree in voice and opera performance. As a freelance singer Hans Pieter also frequently works for the Dutch National Opera chorus in Amsterdam and occasionally during festival productions at the chorus of l’Opera National de Lyon in France.
