3D Hubs, based in Amsterdam and founded in April 2013, is on a mission to make 3D printing accessible to everyone by unlocking the worlds idle 3D printers, facilitating transactions between 3D printer owners and people that want to make 3D prints. Having the world’s largest network of 3D printers with over 3,500 printing locations across 80 countries (and counting), 3D Hubs help people print 3D customized products locally every day.
Bram de Zwart started working in 3D printing five years ago with the mission to make manufacturing more local and sustainable. After a career at 3D Systems, he co-founded 3D Hubs, world’s largest platform connecting 3D printer owners with people who want to print. Bram holds a M.Sc. degree from Delft University, where he wrote his thesis on the design and supply chain implications of 3D printing.
