Fri, Oct 13 - Sun, Oct 22  2017

From October 13 to October 22 Cappella Pratensis will perform in the United States.

Cappella Pratensis

Cappella Pratensis specializes in the music of Josquin Desprez (= Pratensis) and other polyphonists from the 15th and 16th centuries. The ensemble brings continuous models with its own programs and original interpretations, which are based on scientific research sources. As is common in the Renaissance period, the singers of Cappella Pratensis are often around a central music stand. They sing of facsimile editions of original choir books. As a result, also creates a unique perspective to the repertoire. The ensemble was founded in 1987 and is now under the artistic direction of singer and conductor Stratton Bull.
