Industry City - New York Consulate Region

On May 7, the Dutch audiovisual designers of Circus Family will invite visitors of the opening night of NYCxDesign at WantedDesign Brooklyn to join their colorful LED installation “Day & Night.”

In the innovative and artistic community of Industry City, the Circus Family team build an interactive LED driven light installation exclusively designed to fit the exhibition space. During the day, the pulsing light glow will invite visitors to be part of the installation. A light experience in which the audience directs the intensity, audio and colors by simply moving around inside the installation.

This installation is created by commited designers from diverse backgrounds that are commited to developing powerful audio visual experiences, by employing a colourful spectrum of styles and techniques. As they are aware of the overwhelming amount of information surrounding us, they aim to speak a clean, clear and meaningful message. Circus Family’s focus is on unique storytelling solutions for moving image and their mission is to create content that – in this case, literally – moves people.
