Claire Fleury
Ventured from dance and theater into fashion design, and makes clothing that is both festive and wearable,
using bold patterned fabrics and designs based on classic cuts from a variety of origins and time periods. Scottish, Japanese, Dutch, Moroccan influences, from renaissance to ’77 punk, are present in the one-of designs that are all handmade by the designer. ‘Her creations are at once punk rock and haute elegance’ writes David Noh for Gay City News.
