Collective Art Paper Aesthetics By Noa Haim At The Walker Art Center
From July 2 until September 3rd the Collective Art Paper Aesthetics by Noa Haim is exhibited

This summer as the construction encompasses the Walker, the Art Lab will be transformed into a construction zone of its own. From July 2 through September 3rd, during gallery hours, children and families are invited to help design and build a collaborative paper structure. Fold and connect polygon pieces to participate in the Paper City project and influence ways that this marvelous architecture evolves over time.
Paper City was designed by artist/architect Noa Haim of Collective Paper Aesthetics, the Rotterdam-based design initiative she established in 2008. The project was inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s exploration of the relationship between objects, space, and experience. Stop in often and watch the structure grow throughout the summer.
About Noa Haim
Noa Haim (Jerusalem, 1975) master of architecture, designer, journalist and contributing editor, based in Rotterdam, where she graduated The Berlage Institute (2004) Thesis title: Vertical Kibbutz. In her work though International architectural firms she specialized in the field of Mixed-use developments and urban strategies.
Since January 2009 Noa Haim is running her independent multidisciplinary studio working on open-design installations, product design and architecture. Her first design project Collective Paper Aesthetics was awarded by dezeen.com and tdwa.com to participate in the Environmental container exhibition 2010, Tokyo as well as selected for Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism Architecture 2011.
