Collective Paper Aesthetics Installation at Design Pavilion on Times Square, May 20-21
From May 18-22, Design Pavilion™ presents a five-day cultural event, with a curated set of interactive displays bringing design and innovation directly to Times Square’s newly renovated plazas. For this opportunity Collective Paper Aesthetics will present their project – Everyone can play a designer.
The project provides a blank canvas like for people to create their own architectural/urban models. The model they choose for this event is Heartboard pyramid. From the whole Collective Paper Aesthetic collection, this model offers the widest configuration possibilities. To strengthen the essence and feeling of the architectural model they choose to make white, similar to a paper model on the architect’s working desk.
Collective Paper Aesthetics is a Rotterdam based design initiative. Established and run by Noa Haim.
Design Pavilion™ serves as a public center for the city’s official design weeks, with the NYCxDESIGN Information Kiosk from May 3-24, increasing awareness of the power of design and the many design events occurring around town. New to the mix, Design Pavilion debuts the DESIGN MARKET NYC!
Since its inception, Collective Design has been an active supporter of and participant in NYCxDESIGN, New York City’s official citywide celebration of design, which will run from May 3-24, 2017. Spanning all disciplines of design, NYCxDESIGN creates a collaborative platform for cultural and commercial opportunities, elevates established and emerging design practices and increases awareness of and appreciation for design by all audiences. Hosted in New York City, NYCxDESIGN brings together all the disciplines of design, commerce, culture, education, and entertainment with a full, varied program, including exhibitions, installations, trade shows, talks, launches and open studios. The program is overseen by NYCEDC together with a Steering Committee comprised of leaders and leading institutions across most design disciplines.
