Design Miami/ entrance plaza designed by West 8

This year at the Design Miami entrance plaza visitors can relax in an inspired, oval green space created by West 8 Landscape architects, outfitted with 101 wooden logs recycled from the recent Irma storm. The temporary park installation assembles the atmosphere of the future park to come. Design Miami will take place from December 6 to December 10. 

Over the next year, West 8 Landscape architects in collaboration with Fentress architects and the city of Miami Beach are developing the design to transform the current parking lot into a public park for residents and guests to celebrate and enjoy South Florida’s weather outdoors, year-round.
