DNO (De Nederlandse Opera, Amsterdam) has co-produced Alexander Borodin’s Prince Igor with the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Star bass-baritone Ildar Abdrazakov takes on the monumental title role, with Gianandrea Noseda conducting. Produced by Dmitri Tcherniakov.
The opera opens this Thursday at 7 pm and runs on Feb 10th, Feb 14th, Feb 17th, Feb 21st, Feb 24th, Mar 1st, Mar 4th and Mar 8th. For tickets and times click here. Approximate running time 4 hrs. 15 min.
