Dutch Influence, a music documentary about the success of the Dutch electronic music scene, made its North American debut at the CBGB’s Film Festival October 11. More screenings of the film take place November 20 till November 24 in California, Florida and Illinois. World-renowned Dutch house DJ’s like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Nicky Romero, Afrojack and more are featured in the film about fame, celebrity and the head-spinning popularity of Dutch DJs around the globe.

The film tells the story of the artists who have become global superstars experiencing massive success and what that entails.  They share the beautiful moments as well as the downside of their climb to the top.  The film follows several top Dutch stars to international locations like Las Vegas, Ibiza, London, Amsterdam and Miami for the largest dance music event in the world, “Miami Music Week” (formerly and maybe still kind of known at the Winter Music Conference).

The official film soundtrack is due out on Spinnin’ Records, grab it here on iTunes and check out the trailer below.
