Bumper Ballet

Bumper Ballet is a new media art installation, by Dropstuff, revolving around the world’s first self-driving bumper cars. “Bumper Ballet playfully tackles the social implications of emerging autonomous technology. Visitors become a subject to the cars and experience first hand what it means to lose control when a computer takes over.”

Panic Room #18: Rebirth Title Sequence

This title sequence from House of Panic director Kim Taylor brings to life a phantasmagoria of genetic experimentation gone nasty. Spinning a cinematic tale in a short, sharp slice of biological horror it asks: What twisted horrors is mankind capable of creating once he learns to manipulate nature to his depraved will? The titles set the scene for the bi-annual Amsterdam event Panic Room, featuring talks from inspirational creatives spanning multiple fields. LO-FI LE-VI is the artist name of Levi Dronkert, who self produces his music. His music is very popular and can count Tyler the Creator amongst his fans. The music he makescan be considered  “bedroom pop,” which makes his recordings “genre-bending, self-produced, intimate recordings.”

From Rotterdam, the band Iguana Death Cult started off with making “giddy, hard-hitting garage punk and a miasma of acid-drenched psychedelics, only to blossom into an all-embracing unit that implements frameworks of post-punk, krautrock, new wave, soul and disco.” If that doesn’t sound interesting, we don’t know what does anymore.

Considering that people will live 120 years, it’s important to rethink our behaviour to minimize these risk factors. We need to establish collaboration and find solutions to prevent diseases and improve population health in a sustainable way.
