From December 2-7, Dutch galleries Delaive, Leslie Smith, Rueb and TORCH will participate in Art Miami 2014
Dutch galleries Gallery Delaive, Leslie Smith Gallery, Rueb Gallery, and TORCH Gallery will participate in Art Miami 2014, and present a number of Dutch artists.
Gallery Delaive presents modern, impressionist, Cobra and contemporary art, and is the exclusive representative of the Sam Francis Estate for Europe, the exclusive representative of Niki de Saint Phalle for the Netherlands. Exhibiting artists are: Peter Anton, Karel Appel, Niki de Saint Phalle, Sam Francis, Takashi Murakami, Ayako Rokkaku, and Yuina Wada.
Founded in 1969, Leslie Smith Gallery is one of the leading galleries in the Netherlands specializing in Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art. Among the exhibited artists are: Banksy, Anna den Drijver, Kudditji Kngwarreye, Shay Kun, Marc Lagrange, Lorna Ward Napanangka, Pablo Picasso, Gavin Rain, Maayke Schuitema, Miguel Segall, Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri, Paddy Lewis Tjapanangka, George ‘Hairbrush’ Tjungurrayi, and Zhuang Hong Yi.
Rueb Gallery specializes in modern classical paintings from 1900 until the present, and has a clientele of mainly private collectors. An exhibition is organized twice a year. Throughout the rest of the year, the gallery may be visited by appointment. Exhibited artists include: Corneille, Auguste Herbin, jaap mooij, Willem Paerels, Samuel L. (Mommie) Schwarz, Kees van Dongen, and Geer van Velde.
TORCH Gallery was established by Adriaan van der Have in 1984 as a stage for Dutch and international contemporary art. Today it is run by his son, Mo van de Have, who represents a diverse roster of artists, including Eelco Brand, Popel Coumou, Wouter Deruyter, Eldon Garnet, Line Gulsett, Ellen Kooi, Loretta Lux, and Terry Rodgers.
