After a time where keeping distance and being careful of human contact has been the new norm, we can finally move around more freely and connect with each other again. Railtalk-Re-Connect invites you to use magnetic letters to play and connect with your fellow MARTA travelers. Leave a positive message, write a loving word or simply read along.  Designers Bouke Bruins and Wouter Corvers, “We strive to promote as much interaction as possible between all layers of society, the more diverse the better.” Find your favorite spot at your MARTA station, share a beautiful message, and reconnect.

Arabidopsis Symphony by Fillip Studio
Outdoor. Accessed by smartphone. Ponce City Market, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta.
Free. Until October 9, 2022.  More info here.

Arabidopsis Symphony shows us that there is more to a simple plant than meets the human eye. In this interactive outdoor experience, visitors dive into the lively inner world of the ‘Arabidopsis Thaliana’ — an plant that exists all around the world, but grows and develops differently due to local climates. Walk through a field of human-sized plants while witnessing how real-time environmental changes influence their growth. The artwork combines augmented reality with an ever-changing musical composition. The experience is unique everytime and everywhere: a rainy night in Georgia will look and sound completely different from a sunny afternoon in Vienna. Come back again, and discover a new environment-based composition.
