New York based Dutch artist Erik Wesselo manifests the seemingly insignificant into prominent happenings through the articulation of time. In Wesselo’s films, the artist carries out both radical and commonplace acts that are depicted through constructs of repetition, duration, and tempo. The monotonous nature of the work catches the viewer contemplating notions of expectation, chance, and their part in the picture.
Erik Wesselo’s two week residency at MING Studios commences on Saturday, April 27th with a film screening of previous work and discussion. May 9th – 11th, Wesselo will present new work developed during his time in Boise.
