Mark 400 years of New York City with two seminars looking into the historic and architecture ties between the United States and the Netherlands. "1600’s Symposium: The Beginning of the City" and "New York as a global city" bring together heritage and architecture experts from both sides of the Atlantic.

Please join cultureNOW, the Lower Manhattan Historical Association, Center for Architecture, Consulate-General of the Netherlands in New York for a hybrid symposium about strategies for facing the urban challenges of the 21st century: mobility, resiliency, cultural heritage, water, housing. Architects from Amsterdam and other major cities in the Netherlands are global leaders in addressing these issues and will be invited to present their ideas in this program.
