Joris Luyendijk moderator at TEDxUNPlaza
TEDxUNPlaza brings an independent organized TEDx event to the United Nations (NY) on September 16, at the newly renovated ECOSOC Chamber.

Under the theme BRAVE: United in Action, TEDxUNPlaza brings together thought leaders and emerging pioneers in global affairs, innovation, technology, medicine, film, and entertainment to explore a multidisciplinary approach to BRAVERY in our world today. The Dutch journalist Joris Luyendijk will be a moderator during this event. Dutch community strategist Jim Stolze will also share a story. His ambition is to transform the way we look at volunteerism.
In 2009 Stolze was appointed by TED as a senior ambassador for the TEDx program. Together with various teams around the world he co-organized many TEDx events. In 2012 Jim Stolze moved to Doha (Qatar) to help set up an organization that fosters TED’s mission “ideas worth spreading” in the Middle East region.
