Joris Teepe at The Netherland Club in New York

On February 20, Joris Teepe will give a concert at the Netherland Club in New York.

Tue, Feb 20 - Tue, Feb 20  2018

In the early nineties, a young Dutch contrabassist planned a four-month study trip to New York… But now, 25 years later, Joris Teepe is still living in the Big Apple and currently one of the most influential artists on the New York jazz scene. On Tuesday, February 20th, 2018, Joris Teepe will give a The Netherland Club JAZZ concert, to celebrate this ‘NY anniversary’. Together with his award-winning Trio of Liberty, Joris Teepe will bring an evening that reflects his 25 years of Dutch jazz in NY. A retrospective masterclass in both music and words… Because Joris is an enthused storyteller who loves to share his passion for jazz music. And 25 years in New York is food for many juicy stories.
