Dutch-French performer Kasper Klop in Through the Door

Dutch-French performer Kasper Klop will be featured in the online video performance “Through the Door”, taking place on June 2nd 6.30pm, June 8th 6.30pm and June 9th 7.30pm.

“Through the Door” is an online video performance delving into the inner continents of man through naked-hand puppetry and physical performance.  It was filmed site-specific at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and it is part of the Global Forms Festival, produced by Rattlestick Playwrights Theater and New York Theatre Salon.

In the words of the performers and creators:

“We say that traveling leads us to see differently, to open up, to grow, to be more universal. In a world on lockdown, traveling happens also on the inside. Cut from others, what remains is ourselves. So come dive with us into the inner continents of man. A world that is vast, varied, unpredictable, intense, naughty, heroic, vulnerable, nightmarish, festive and spiritual. ‘Through the Door’ is a performance mixing video, physical theater and naked-hand puppetry.”
