Moooi launches Flock of Light by Studio Toer.

Sparks of glowing lights are all around us. They turn up when the night sets in and play until the dawn. Together they create a spectacle of light with nature as its main stage. Inspired by this natural phenomenon of glowing light, Studio Toer created Flock of Light. It derived from an art installation for the public space and as of September 15th available worldwide as a Moooi design. Flock of Light is a design that brings a sense of wonder to your home.

“We took inspiration from a transient moment when a swarm of fireflies drifts. Inspired by nature and the way these little creatures move, we combined our knowledge of technology and ignited an idea. Nocturnal phenomenon

Flock of Light by Studio Toer is inspired by glowing sparks in the dark. It brings poetry to your interior and captures that magical moment between day and night. Flock of Light resembles a nocturnal phenomenon that evokes sensation and emotion wherever it lands.

About Flock of Light

Flock of Light is available worldwide on September 15th and comes in two sizes: Flock of Light 11 and Flock of Light 21. It is derived from an art installation and now available as a suspension light for any home. This dimmable light has a powerful output while maintaining its simplicity. It is made from metal and comes with LED lights. It can both create an intimate setting while enjoying dinner with your family, as well as wondering away with a book on your sofa. With the Flock of Light, Moooi brings a modern design for anybody who inspires to live an extraordinary life.

Studio Toer is a multidisciplinary design collective from the Netherlands and was founded in 2011 by Castor Bours and Wouter Widdershoven.
