Nederlands Dans Theater 2 (NDT 2) visits the USA

This February, Dutch dance theatre company NDT 2 tours the USA. In addition to that, a Dance Talk will take place on Sunday, February 1st at 5PM at DANY Studios in New York, highlighting the work of Nederlands Dans Theater 2. Dance writer Deborah Jowitt will be present.

About NDT 2

NDT 2 is the launching pad for young dancers, who are carefully selected through auditions. They dance choreographies by the new generation of dance makers, like Alexander Ekman. The group performs all over the world. It is the company’s breeding ground, where talented dancers grow up and young up-and-coming choreographers get the chance to develop.

About the tour in 2015

After the succesful US tour of NDT 1 in 2013, next winter NDT 2 visits the USA! NDT’s youth arm will perform in New York (Joyce Theatre), Portland (White Bird), Santa Barbara (University of California) and Scotsdale (Center of the Performing Arts). Please note, in Portland en Scottsdale the group work Cacti (Alexander Ekman) is performed in stead of Subject to Change.
