New performance with Kasper Klop at Collab NYC Gallery

Kasper Klop

Morwenna Spagnol

Thu, Oct 28 - Thu, Oct 28  2021

Kasper Klop and Morwenna Spagnol are pleased to present their upcoming live performance Eve & Adam: thanks for your collab, taking place at the Collab NYC gallery, co-founded by Marc Levin.

The Eve & Adam concept is a series of unique and site-specific performances, drawing from in-depth research on the culture, laws and political situation specific to each city/country where the performances are happening. Eve & Adam is a reflection on human rights and the impact our society can have on the individual, their body, and their soul.

More specifically, Eve & Adam: thanks for your collab questions the consequences of  the original sin on contemporary practices and beliefs. Structured into four movements, this new performance takes shape through naked-hand puppetry, videos, declamations and finishes with an exhibition. Could the removal of female and male sexual parts, which is considered curative, be a punitive drift from the original sin? Could science, through its practices, act as the hand of God? Indeed, a real and official industry of sexual mutilation does exist.
