In May, Nikitov, a Yiddish band and acoustic ensemble, will give 14 concerts all around the country.
In the Netherlands Nikitov has a long history of representing Yiddish music at a sublime level performing Internationally on various important stages, such as the world famous Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Die Gasteig in Munich, Klezmore festival Vienna and many many more. Nikitov’s latest album has received many riveting reviews and has been claims to be a small masterpiece.
Now this May 2017 Nikitov will perform all over the USA. Starting May 10th on the East coast traveling via, Nashville TN, Washington DC, Philadelphia PA to New York City.
With her beautiful voice her outstanding interpretation of the Yiddish language and her guts to keep Yiddish Music alive Niki Jacobs proves Yiddish music is very much alive. With her show Mameloshn Nikitov brings a variety of beautifully translated pop-songs combined with old and new Yiddish material.
