Starting November 2019, the Philippe Lemm Trio will be touring the US, visiting different cities across the country with their new album City Birds! Drummer Philippe Lemm, pianist Angelo Di Loreto, and bassist Jeff Koch met in New York in 2011, and after one session together, realized that their undeniable chemistry was one that needed to be taken and shared with the world. Comprised of three musicians with an exceptional command of their instruments, the group’s repertoire draws heavily from re-imaginations of jazz standards in a way that both defies genre and corresponds to any modern jazz fan.
