On November 2nd, 2019 at 04:00 PM Robin Waart will present his work at Acid-Free book fair Los Angeles. In light of his books DEDICATION(S) and the forthcoming EVOL, LOVE, artist Robin Waart traces the path of one specific dedication: “To C.L.S.” through several editions of Walter Pater’s THE RENAISSANCE and talks about how books can endlessly rewrite their own histories while serving as a place where author and reader meet.
About Robin Waart
Robin Waart (NL/UK) studied Classics and received his BA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, and MA from the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague. He uses repetition and collecting as a framework for projects with books, movie stills, photography, polaroids, and pages.

Acid-Free is a three-day book market organized by a collective of Los Angeles-based independent publishers. More than 90 West Coast and international exhibitors will present new publications and projects alongside video, music, and discursive programming all weekend.
