Startups WeMakeVR, Eviate, Leviy at Northside Festival

On June 11 and 12, We Make VR, Eviate and Leviy will participate in the Dutch Innovation Showcase during the Northside Festival Innovation Expo in Brooklyn’s McCarren Park. 

These three startups are part of the StartupDelta Bootcamp, a group of nine Dutch startups visiting New York to participate in a 4-day acceleration program. They will showcase their product at Northside Festival’s startup, tech and innovation-focused forum and expo. There, they will pitch their product at the Dutch Innovation Showcase together with 14 other Dutch tech and innovation companies.

WeMakeVR

WeMakeVR created a unique stereoscopic camera system and post-production workflow. This camera enables us to produce groundbreaking Cinematic 3D virtual reality films. To be with loved ones while they are on the other side of the world. To be at the front row of your favorite artist’s show even though you missed out on the tickets. WeMakeVR pushes the boundaries of VR to bring people a new world. A world in which they can relive important experiences, make new memories, or do things that they never dreamt were possible.

Virtual Reality has to be experienced to be understood. We can talk about it and show videos but this does not convey what virtual reality really is. You have to experience it for yourself to truly get it. That is why we offer a demo for journalist and clients.

Eviate

Eviate makes air travel stress free by connecting every bag to the internet. We have developed Eviate eTrack and eTag together with partners including Air France KLM (see video). eTrack is a 3G GPS tracker with patent pending automated on/off switch which connects to the world’s aviation backbone so that you and your airline always know where your bag is. eTag is a digital baggage label that lets you check-in at home and skip queues at the airport, making your trip predictable and fast.
