On January 15, 7:00 PM, the Stedelijk Koor Enschede will be part of a concert honoring the music of Sir Karl Jenkins at Carnegie Hall in New York. Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) will be presenting the world premiere of Award-Winning Welsh Composer Sir Karl Jenkins’ Sing The Music was Given and his well-known work The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.
DCINY celebrates their Tenth Anniversary with the World Premiere of Welsh Composer Sir Karl Jenkins’ Sing! The Music was Given. Commissioned by the DCINY Premiere Project, the new piece and Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace (with film) will be performed by the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and an International Choir made up of singers from eight countries.
