On September 20, leading Dutch trend forecaster, Li Edelkoort, will host another seminar in the Talking Textiles series at the New School. This full-day seminar will talk about textiles for fashion and interiors – exploring the important trends, fabrics, yarns and techniques for the seasons to come. Talking Textiles features a long list of inspiring speakers, seeking to promote textile education and celebrating September as the first ever New York Textile Month. The event elevates textile education for both students and professionals alike, and will be free for students and faculty. Regular tickets are available for purchase here for professionals and textile enthusiasts. During September 20, Edelkoort and several fashion production companies will share their thoughts about regional productions.
