Teaching Phothographs is a 3-day symposium around the pedagogy inherent in the photographic.
This engagement will be a gathering conversation about the present and future of images, representation and learning. Teaching Photographs aims to explore the space and transmission of knowledge within the photograph, and within the social spaces that hold photographic meaning. For this purpose, they have gathered roughly a dozen artists, scholars, professors, writers, and curators to engage in lectures, panel discussion, screenings, and experimental workshops. One of these participants will be Dutch artist Anouk Kruithof who will give a lecture: The Secret Life of Photographic Images on October 11th, at 11.30am. More info on the schedule can be found here.
