Starting in January, Dutch youth theatre company Theater Terra performs Spot in theaters throughout the USA and Canada.
Together with Spot, toddlers and their parents will have a new adventure in the theatre. Spot will take the audience to the farm of his father Sam, where all the animals are lost. Spot and his friend Helen are going to need the help of the audience to find all the animals and bring them back to the farm. Can everybody recognize the sounds of the animals and help Spot and Helen to find them?
For more than 30 years, Dutch youth theatre company Theater Terra has been making highly rewarded musicals for kinds and families. Theater Terra was founded by Theo Terra and is known for being at the top of international youth theater. With puppets, objects, puppeteers and singers, Theater Terra makes visual theater with lots of humor and poetry. Over the last years, several famous stories have been successfully created into plays.
Furthermore, Theater Terra makes smaller and more intimate plays. Throughout the years, Theater Terra received a lot of appreciation for her work. Among other prizes, the group has won the Hans Snoek award, for their show ‘Zwanendons’, the highest award in Dutch youth theatre.
