Wanrooij Gallery is internationally renowned for its innovative, challenging and inspiring art with character. The gallery provides a prominent stage for emerging and acclaimed artists and has a key focus on new media art.
Over the years the gallery has developed a total art experience. It is a place to explore and experience art in all its facets. In that perspective, the gallery constantly seeks new challenges by pushing boundaries of the established art world. Wanrooij Gallery participates in major art fairs worldwide.
SmithDavidson Gallery exhibits a dynamic range of leading modern and contemporary art in various mediums. The present gallery’s mission is to acquire and present the work of significant artists whose work has either defined or is expanding the parameters of the visual arts. SmithDavidson Gallery will be at stand 217 at Art New York.
Founded in 1969 in The Hague, Netherlands, the gallery was originally named Leslie Smith Gallery after its American owner. Leslie Smith was a leading specialist and the preeminent source for 19th-century Dutch painting throughout the 1970s and 1980s. The genre became acknowledged as “The Second Golden Age of Dutch Art” after Smith coined the term while collaborating on an exhibition of the same name at the Frans Hals Museum, Haarlem in 1986.
Simons Gallery is home to an inspired mix of artists of all generations who strive to create exceptional art for its own sake and at times as a vehicle for change and social activism, from image to action. Simons Gallery artists — through their work — seek to inspire global awareness and instill a spirit of engagement and collaboration throughout the world, homing in on salient issues and themes that we as global citizens face.
This contemporary collection is located in Miami, Florida, and The Hague, Netherlands. Simons Gallery seeks to promote and support the relationship between the Latin American art tradition of yesteryear and the international contemporary artists of today.
Art New York, presented by Art Miami, returns to Pier 94 from May 3 to 6, offering noteworthy and fresh works by important artists from the contemporary, modern, post-war and pop eras, featuring paintings, photography, prints, drawings, design, and sculpture.
The 2018 edition will see over 85 international contemporary and modern galleries from 30 countries come together to represent over 1,200 artists including CONTEXT, a platform for a selection of new and established contemporary galleries to present emerging, mid-career and cutting-edge talent.
Art New York begins with an elegant, invitation-only VIP Preview event benefiting the Joe Namath Foundation and the Hope for Depression Research Foundation. The special preview offers collectors, art advisors, curators, and media the opportunity to examine and acquire the finest works available in the market before the fair opens to the public that evening.
