Three Dutch Oscar Nominations

Hoyte van Hoytema, Arjen Tuiten, and Bram Meindersma are nominated for to win an Oscar

Cameraman Hoyte van Hoytema, makeup artist Arjen Tuiten and composer Bram Meindersma are nominated for an Oscar. Van Hoytema is nominated for Best Cinematography for “Dunkirk“, Arjen Tuiten is nominated for Best Makeup and Hairstyling in “Wonder” and Bram Meindersma is nominated for Best Animated Short with “Negative Space“.

Hoyte van Hoytema 

Hoyte van Hoytema is a Dutch-Swiss cinematographer who studied at the National Film School in Łódź. He has worked primarily in Sweden, but also in Germany, Norway, the United States and the United Kingdom. His recent, high-profile work includes HerInterstellar, the James Bond film Spectre, and the World War II thriller Dunkirk.

Wonder (2017)

Arjen Tuiten

Arjen Tuiten was born on September 23, 1980, in Joure, Friesland, Netherlands. He is known for his work on Pan’s Labyrinth (2006), Maleficent (2014) and Wonder (2017).

Negative Space (2017)

Even though Sam’s father is hardly ever home because he is often away on business trips, he is able to connect with his son by teaching him how to pack a suitcase.

Bram Meindersma

Bram Meindersma is a Music & Sound-designer based in Amsterdam.
