Two Dutch Film Screenings at Chicago European Union Film Festival

Two Dutch films are being screened during the European Union Film Festival in Chicago. The festival celebrates the diversity of European film in all it’s many forms and narratives.

 

Take Me Somewhere Nice (2019)

TMSN is a coming of age roadtrip film by young maker Ena Sendijarević, the film incapsulates the intersections of being a woman, being bicultural and being young. The film is semi-biographical and is a Dutch-Bosnian collaboration.

Take Me Somewhere Nice is screening on:

Friday, March 27, at 4 pm.
Sunday, March 29, at 3 pm.

 

Living the Light: Robby Muller

Dutch cinematographer Robby Muller is remembered and celebrated in this documentary about his astounding work. Muller worked with Jim Jarmusch,  Wim Wenders, von Trier and other renowned directors.

Living the Light is screening on:

Friday, March 13, at 4 pm.
Monday, March 16, at 6 pm.
