Art Basel Miami Beach, the leading international art fair in Miami Beach, returns in 2023, featuring 277 premier galleries. For the third year in a row, the fair is designed by Volfram, a New York & The Hague based design collective founded in 2020 by Klaas Rood and Ernst van ter Beek, specializing in scenography for art & design.
About Volfram
Volfram creates seemingly effortless spaces and experiences through movement and light. Volfram is a design collective founded by Klaas Rood and Ernst van ter Beek. Together with a global network of architects and designers, they create interiors and event spaces. Current clients include Art Basel in Miami Beach, and the NN Group. Fusing wide experience in art and architecture, Volfram is able to create solutions that are never the same. It aims for striking simplicity, rooted in history and context, resulting in a spotlight on the client with an ever-changing perspective.
Prior to Volfram, Klaas & Ernst led projects at studios in New York & Amsterdam for clients such as: ABN AMRO Bank, Rijksmuseum, Frieze Masters London, Nationale-Nederlanden Group, Hauser & Wirth, AkzoNobel, Herman Miller, WeWork, Tumi, Galataport Istanbul, Pernod Ricard, Louis Vuitton, Museum of Arts & Design, Dominique Crenn, Veuve Clicquot.
